Moo Nam Tok, spicy sliced pork salad, is a Northeastern food that is made by grilling fatty pork until the fat drips on the fire and gives off a pleasant aroma. The cooked pork is sliced into bite – size pieces and mixed with lemon juice, fish sauce,
ground dried chillies, ground roasted rice, sliced shallots and mint leaves. It is eaten with steamed glutinous rice and fresh vegetables such as cabbage, yard – long bean and water convolvulus. Moo Nam Tok is a popular dish that is usually sold along with lap.
Beside the pork, bedf is also used to make Nua Nam Tok.
